Snyder Township is in northeast Jefferson County, PA

Incorporated 1835

The township is in northeastern Jefferson County, bordered to the northeast by Elk County and to the southeast by Clearfield County, surrounding the borough of Brockway, PA.

Unincorporated communities in the township include Crenshaw, Sugar Hill, Lanes Mills, Erie Junction, and Beechton.

​

Little Toby Creek, a tributary of the Clarion River, crosses the township from east to north. The entire township is within the Allegheny River watershed.
